Mindy O. Renfro, PT, DPT, PhD, ECHM is a geriatric physical therapist and retired Professor. She is now CEO for MT PT & Home Mods and an Affiliate Faculty member at the University of Montana’s School of Public and Community Health. She was selected by the CDC as a fall prevention expert in 2009 and by the University of Southern California as a home modifications workgroup member in 2019. Dr. Renfro has worked closely with the National Council on Aging (NCOA), American Physical Therapy Association - both national and state level, Geriatric Workforce Centers and many other nonprofit organizations. She has researched and published in fall risk measures and validation of evidence-based fall prevention (EBFP) programs for different populations. She is a long-time advocate and educator for fall prevention and home modification for adults with disabilities and older adults.
Tim Renfro is the Building Designer for the Montana PT & Home Modifications business. Tim began his career serving on a frigate for the US Navy as an electrician's mate, launching him into a lengthy career including work as an electrician, maintenance worker in various industries, and a cost assessor for building designs. He stays up to date in IT, computer programming and graphic design. His ability to assess building structure and draw detailed graphic diagrams of both the existing home and needed modifications prepares the homeowner for the contractor's work. If your home has an issue, Tim can probably tell you how to fix it! Tim loves to fish, spend time with his family and walk our dog, Tessa. Having grown up in St. Louis, he is an avid Cardinals fan.
